Lucia brings a rich sense of texture to our papier mâché frame collection, her ridged surface and angular corners catching light in a way that feels both architectural and organic. Each one is shaped and finished by hand, celebrating the imperfect rhythm that gives papier mâché its signature soul.

She arrives with a 4×6 charcoal sketch by artist Maggie Matthews, whose studies of the female form pair effortlessly with Lucia’s sculptural frame. Each drawing is created on antiqued paper, and no two are exactly alike—delicate variations in movement and tone honor the fluidity of the human form and the handmade nature of the work. Maggie’s art captures a rare balance, an ethereal softness that offsets the strength of her medium, making every pairing quietly poetic.
